Chris and his inspectors, do a thorough and timely job. I'm not able to be there and see the car so have to rely on their opinion. They also review the Carfax and match with their findings. I appreciate the "feel" you get with their opinion when you speak on the phone to review the results. Would recommend using them before buying.

Excellent job. Real professional I had my 1965 Mustang inspected and Chris did a phenomenal job. Planning to purchase a 1970 Mercedes 250 SL Chris will perform the inspection for me.

Our pre-purchase vehicle inspection service provides a snapshot of the vehicle as it is presented to our inspector for 60 minutes. We promise to provide a high-quality inspection report while using a trained automotive professional to test the overall functionality of the vehicle and document any concerns or damages that can be identified. The inspector will spend approximately one hour with the vehicle and include our comprehensive evaluation and a road test when applicable. We strive to identify as many concerns, damages, and items of wear as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot find everything on a used vehicle within one hour.

We provide a thorough top-side inspection service to identify the overall operation with the vehicle and any concerns that can be identified within the one hour visit by a professional inspector.

We do-not provide a maintenance inspection or any diagnosis with concerns that were identified.

We do-not provide a safety inspection, however; many of our reports will identify safety related issues that were identified during an inspection. Diagnosing any issues that were found would require a visit to a service and repair facility

Let your seller know that you are requesting a PPI. Complete our online inspection request and sit back, we take care of the details. We will reach out to your seller and confirm the exact location and availability of the vehicle. We will coordinate and dispatch one of our local inspectors to perform the inspection. The data is transmitted to our office where it will be reviewed by an ASE certified technician. You will receive a text alert on your cell phone to prompt you to check your email where you can download the report.

We are a Florida based inspection company with years of experienced automotive professionals. Pre-purchase and pre-sale inspections is what we do… it’s all we do. We have proprietary software that enhances the inspector’s ability to document damage and allows the technical team to quickly review and submit your report in a timely manner. We pride ourselves on our customer support, and overall quality with our inspection service. We continue to provide our inspectors with the resources for the latest tools and technology.

Our proprietary inspection software allows us to capture the inspection data in real-time and process the reports by the end of the day. Most inspections are completed within 48 hours or less and the report links are available for 90 days. The data is then permanently deleted from the system. There is a print option if you would like to keep a copy of the report.

Yes, we do. However, there is a $45 cancellation fee if the inspector has-not made the inspection visit. Once the inspector makes the trip to the vehicle or has started the inspection process there is no refund.

We move quickly to keep the process moving so we start on your order immediately. We have administrative tasks with setting up the order, researching the vehicle and available history reports and service records, and reaching out to your salesperson. As a result, if we find the vehicle is not available when we receive your order, we can place it on hold until you find another vehicle. Just let us know so we can update your order. If you decide to cancel your order, there will be a $45 fee deducted and the remaining balance will be refunded to your credit account.

We understand that sellers want to sell and sometimes will sell the vehicle prior to our inspectors arrival. In this case, the inspector must be paid for his time and fuel expense and a refund of 50% will be returned. Providing the seller a refundable deposit will usually help to secure the vehicle for our inspection visit and your final purchase decision.

Often salespeople do not check the status of the vehicle and request that our inspector show up at the appointment time. Should the vehicle not be available for any reason, including being serviced or reconditioned and the inspection would need to be rescheduled. In this situation, the customer would be responsible for an additional $45 fee to cover the inspectors time and fuel expense, or a refund 50% will be returned and the inspection will be cancelled. Customers can decide which option works best for them.

Our inspectors will make every attempt to complete the inspection at the scheduled time and find a suitable covered area, if available, to complete the inspection. In situations where it is too difficult, the inspection would need to be rescheduled. In this situation, the customer would be responsible for an additional $45 fee to cover the inspectors time and fuel expense, or a refund of no more than 50% will be returned and the inspection will be cancelled. Customers can decide which option works best for them.

If we are unable to fulfill your order because we do not have a qualified inspector in the area, we will refund your inspection fee 100%.

Just call us. We are always willing to offer high quality customer service; phone calls are free. We do not charge you additional fees for an explanation of your report.

No. We are an onsite mobile inspection service and do not provide a lift or other access under the vehicle. The inspector will do the best he/she can with the vehicle on the ground. We encourage seller to have a lift available so we can provide additional data with an undercarriage inspection. It makes it much easier for our inspectors if the customer can advise the seller with this request, sometimes making it contingent for the final sale.

Myusedcarbuddy.com does not provide any service or invasive testing on vehicles. Sellers do not want us working on their vehicle.

Unfortunately, to have an accurate assessment of the brake system, the vehicle would need to be raised and the wheels removed. Myusedcarbuddy.com does not remove the wheels or have access to the brake pads. The brakes are evaluated solely on the road test for functionality, noises and vibrations.

Having the seller raise the vehicle on a lift, if available can help to identify fluid leaks. Keep in mind during the recondition process most sellers will have the engine steam cleaned which can hide developing fluid leaks. We make a concerted effort to identify fluid leaks during our inspection visit. MyUsedCarBuddy cannot guarantee any fluid leaks that develop.

If the inspection service chosen includes a road test, and the seller will allow it, the inspector will operate the vehicle on city streets no more than 3-miles. Some sellers may not allow a road test, in that event we request that the seller operate the vehicle to demonstrate the vehicle operation. The inspectors will not exceed the posted speed limits and cannot provide highway driving if a highway is not local or nearby.

We strive for perfection and will settle for excellence. Unfortunately, we cannot find everything on the vehicle, especially if the vehicle is much older. We make a concerted effort to identify as much as possible, focusing on the big items such as prior repairs, mechanical aspects, and functionality as much as we can during the one-hour inspection visit. Small items or typical wear should be expected based on the age and mileage of the vehicle.

Most of our inspections include a basic OBDII diagnostic scan test that will identify fault codes stored. If codes are stored or there are fault lights on, it will be illuminated and included within the report and picture package. Myusedcarbuddy.com cannot be held responsible if sellers clear any computer data before our inspector arrives.

Simply put, there is no guarantee or warranty. MyUsedCarBuddy.com is not selling you the vehicle and therefore cannot offer any guarantee or warranty. Any warranty or guarantee must be provided by your seller. Our inspectors are trained to identify as much as possible to allow our customers to make a better-informed purchase decision. Having a high-quality inspection is better than going it alone.

Our proprietary network of automotive professionals work in various segments of the automotive business throughout Florida. They are independently contracted to provide inspection data to meet the MyUsedCarBuddy standards of automotive knowledge, professionalism, integrity and expertise in the automotive space. They are not employees.
